God of this mortal world

I titled my painting Lakshmi which I finished recently. Why did I do so? Who is Lakshmi?

Lakshmi is a Hindu goddess considered the deity of prosperity, edible, and wealth. She is the power of Lord Narayana nourishing this infinite mundane life by providing food and wealth. But from a terrestrial perspective, we see those farmers serve the hardest exertion to provide foodstuffs. In the extensive sunlight or haphazard rain, they work yearlong consistently in open fields without interruption.

In my wisdom, I found Maa Lakshmi and her enormous power in those farmers produce several foods yearlong to make us exist.

In the interior area of Bengal, I often experience those farmers working hard in the cornfield, and such experience motivated me to expose on canvas what I felt.

Title - Lakshmi. Medium - Acrylic on canvas. Size - H - 32 x W - 27 inches.
